COVID-19  POLICIES

WE UNDERSTAND THAT COVID-19 IS CONTINUING TO SPREAD ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, BUT IS UP TO US TO TAKE THE PRECAUTIONS WE CAN TO SLOW AND STOP THE SPREAD. BECAUSE OF THAT, THE FOLLOWING POLICIES WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.




WE ARE UNDER STRICT SAFETY PROTOCOLS 
PPE, Facial bed shield covering, Fogger machine, UV light, HEPA air filters, offering disposable mini face N95 mask covering for treatments, keeping our windows next to the facial bed open. We are limiting the number of patients in the office and will be spending extra time disinfection, and I will be wearing an N95 mask and face shields.

TO REDUCE TRAFFIC IN OUR WAITING ROOM THE "FRONT DOOR" WILL BE LOCKED.

MASK/FACE COVERING MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIME IF YOU ARRIVE WITHOUT A MASK/FACE COVERING, YOU WILL ASKED TO RESCHEDULE .

4. HAND SANITIZER WILL PROVIDED BEFORE THE START OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. 

WE WILL ASK YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS FOR 20 SECONDS BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR SERVICE.

BRING IN ONLY YOUR ESSENTIALS LIKE PHONE AND KEYS. (NO FOOD, DRINK, BAGS OR LARGE BAGS)

7. YOUR TEMPERATURE WILL TAKEN UPON ARRIVAL, AND IF IS ABOVE 100 DEGREES, YOU WILL KINDLY ASKED TO RESCHEDULE WITH NO PENALTIES. (PLEASE CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURE AT HOME BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT, AND CALL IMMEDIATELY IF YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE)

8. ALL GIFT CARDS WILL REMAIN EMAIL-GIFT CARDS FOR THE TIME BEING. CAN BE EMAILED DIRECTLY TO YOU OR THE RECIPIENT. 

9. (FOR THE TIME BEING) WE WILL NOT LONGER HAVE STEAMER AND HAVE TREATMENTS CLIENTS CHANGE INTO A ROBE OR GOWN.

​​YOUR HEALTH IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY WITH CERTIFICATION UNDER THE CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY, BARBICIDE COVID-19 AND CLEAN TOUCH CERTIFIED. WE HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED INFECTION CONTROL TO HIGHEST STANDARDS. BEYOND THE NORMAL REQUIREMENTS, WE WILL BE SPENDING EXTRA TIME DISINFECTION THROUGHOUT THE DAY! IN ADDITION, I WILL BE WEARING FACE MASKS AND FACE SHIELDS.

TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT, YOU MAY USE OUR CONVENIENT ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM.
Last-minute appointments (in the next three hours) require phone, text, or email. If you have a question or need assistance, don’t hesitate to call or email.

PLEASE NOTE that as a small busy studio, we are not always able to return your call on the same day, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re ready.

NO SHOW/ LATE CANCELLATION POLICY 

t’s important to understand that when forgetting or cancelling appointments without giving enough notice, businesses lose the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and other clients waiting for appointments miss out on receiving services. For the benefit and respect of all our clients and professionals, booking appointments through THE PURE SKIN are subject to the following terms:


  • We respectfully request at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments; 24hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule groups of three or more appointments,
  • ANY APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED/RESCHEDULED OR CHANGED WITHOUT POLICY’S HOURS’ NOTICE WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE EQUAL TO 60% OF THE RESERVED SERVICE AMOUNT.
  • ALL “NO SHOWS” WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE RESERVED SERVICE AMOUNT.
  • Appointments that are booked within the 12-8-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.
  • FOR A SCHEDULED TREATMENT USING YOUR GIFT CARD/CERTIFICATE OR MONTHLY ACCRUED MEMBER CREDIT- IT WILL BE CONSIDERED REDEEMED AND VOIDED ON THE DATE OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
  • As a courtesy, appointment confirmation messages are sent 48 hours in advance of appointments by both SMS and email to the contact information given at time of booking. Failing to respond to those confirmation messages could result in your appointment slot being given to another client.

APPOINTMENT FORM- You will receive an email with the consultation form attached. Please take a few moments to fill out the CONSULTATION  FORM before the appointment. This will allow RM to better understand our needs and tailor our services to meet your expectations. 

TIME: As small business please arrive at least 10-5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and relaxation.

LATE ARRIVALS may result in shortened treatment times.

SILENCE YOUR DEVICES To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, silence your cell phone or electronic devices before entering the studio area.
Communicate any preferences or concerns you have with your esthetician before the treatment begins. This includes discussing any allergies, sensitivities, or areas of focus.

RESPECT THE QUIET ZONE: The studio  is a place of tranquility and relaxation. Speak softly and avoid loud conversations in common
areas. 


Avoid lingering in common areas or treatment rooms after your session has ended.

HYGIENE:  Practice good personal hygiene.

Attire: Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment and remove any jewelry or accessories that may interfere with your treatment. Your esthetician will provide you with appropriate gowns or towels as needed.


NO EXTRA GUESTS 
Keeping the number of people in the building to a minimum. 


WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE
Therapists may terminate service when experiencing a client's inappropriate language or action.

RESERVATIONS
A credit card is required to reserve your appointment. While every effort is made to provide a courtesy confirmation, please be sure to call us to verify your appointment time and services.

RETURN
If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with a product, please return the unused portion of the product along with the receipt within 14 days, and we will gladly issue you a TPS studio credit for future use.

SPECIALS I PACKAGES AND GIFT CARDS

 Terms & Conditions
  •        Online appointment required.
  •        The amount paid never expires. Discounted values are valid for 12 months. After 12 months, the paid amount may be applied toward the full-price service, and the client is responsible for the difference.
  • When purchasing a dollar amount (such as $100), the paid value may be applied toward any service or used to purchase retail products.

  •     Non-refundable and non-transferable.  
  •     Each client may purchase only one of each package style or gift card for personal use. 
  •     Duplicate packages, gift card are for GIFTING ONLY.
  •     Cannot be combined with any other  discounts or promotions.
  •      Must show photo ID and sign waiver.
  •      Not valid same day as purchase.
HOLIDAY Cancellation Policies:
    •    Year-round: Less than 24 hours = deducted from package.
    •    Dec 1–31
    •    48 hours required.
    •    <48 hrs = 60% fee
    •    Same-day/no-show = 100% fee


Refunds:
    •    Allowed within 48 business hours if no treatment was used.
    •    Used portions are non-refundable but may be exchanged for another service or product of equal value.
