Feel fresh, feel good!

Waxing can last up to three to eight weeks, depending on your hair growth and cycles, but you must have at least 3-4 weeks apart of hair growth for your first wax.

DOES IT HURT? Some areas are more sensitive than others, and there is some slight discomfort, but the pain will be minimal with an experienced "Brazilian" aesthetician. Don't be shy. If you find it too uncomfortable or have any questions, please stop the aesthetician and let them know. We want you to be comfortable and happy with any service you receive.

CAN I GET WAXED IF I AM PREGNANT? Yes, you can, but please check with your doctor. Also, just like being on your period, being pregnant can leave you more sensitive.

WHEN CANNOT I WAX?

If you have used chemical peel Alpha Hydroxy acid product or any Retin-A medications in the area, wax within the last five days before waxing. If you have a sunburn or laser burn in the area to be waxed.

ACTIVITIES TO AVOID AFTER YOUR WAXING: Do not do any of the following for at least 24 hours after your wax: steam, sauna, Jacuzzi, swim, workout inside or outside, tan inside or out, and wear tight jeans or pants. Doing any of these things may cause irritation and breakouts.

PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING AFTER YOUR WAXING:

Exfoliate dead skin in the area before waxing. A loofah is a sponge, an excellent option for exfoliating, and is used on the body to prepare the skin before waxing the hair. Apply calamine lotion, Neosporin, or cortisone cream if there is any IRRITATION OCCURS on the treated area.

NO SHOW/ LATE CANCELLATION POLICY

t’s important to understand that when forgetting or cancelling appointments without giving enough notice, businesses lose the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and other clients waiting for appointments miss out on receiving services. For the benefit and respect of all our clients and professionals, booking appointments through THE PURE SKIN are subject to the following terms:

We respectfully request at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments; 24hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule groups of three or more appointments,
ANY APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED/RESCHEDULED OR CHANGED WITHOUT POLICY’S HOURS’ NOTICE WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE EQUAL TO 60% OF THE RESERVED SERVICE AMOUNT.
ALL “NO SHOWS” WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE RESERVED SERVICE AMOUNT.
Appointments that are booked within the 12-8-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.
FOR A SCHEDULED TREATMENT USING YOUR GIFT CARD/CERTIFICATE OR MONTHLY ACCRUED MEMBER CREDIT- IT WILL BE CONSIDERED REDEEMED AND VOIDED ON THE DATE OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
As a courtesy, appointment confirmation messages are sent 48 hours in advance of appointments by both SMS and email to the contact information given at time of booking. Failing to respond to those confirmation messages could result in your appointment slot being given to another client.

PRE-APPOINTMENT FORM- You must fill out the CONSULTATION AND COVID-19 PRE-APPOINTMENT SCREENING FORM before the appointment.

RETURN
If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with a product, please return the unused portion of the product along with the receipt within 14 days, and we will gladly issue you a TPS studio credit for future use.

Services are often bought in packages or bundles of 2 or more and paid for ahead. These services are refundable back to the method of payment if a refund is requested immediately or within 48 working hours if treatment has not already started and client changes their mind.
Where treatment has already commenced, for example one treatment in a package of 3 has already been performed, these partially used packages are not refundable with cash. In the event that a service has been paid for as part of a package but not yet used past the 48 hrs or partially used but the client no longer wishes to receive that particular service, another service or products will be made available to the client to chose from to the exact amount remaining on the account

WE ARE UNDER STRICT SAFETY PROTOCOLS- PPE, Facial bed shield covering, Fogger machine, UV light, HEPA air filters, offering disposable mini face N95 mask covering for treatments, keeping our windows next to the facial bed open. We are limiting the number of patients in the office and will be spending extra time disinfection, and I will be wearing an N95 mask and face shields.
